Super Cake

I want a similar cake for my next birthday. Maybe Barad-dur.

Fog

Wednesday night was wicked foggy. I was riding over the Broadway Bridge and could not see more than 50 feet in front of me. Visibility stopped with the railing on the bridge making it pitch black on either side. Creepy. The rest of my ride home was about the same. Visibility was even worse under street lights and in some sections of the neighborhood where there were no lights at all. I think that's the most intense fog I've ever had to ride through.

In other news Cameron has FINALLY moved in. Jeeze. It is really weird not having any loved ones in the house any more. I miss you all. It's also weird not having Lisa around. Though it's probably for her own good.

I wish I had more to write about. School has been time consuming, but not much has happened. I hope the excitement picks up.

Update

I'm back in Portland now. I got in on Monday. The rest of my adventure out east was mostly enjoyable. New York was pretty tight. I got to see a bunch more people that I haven't seen in a while as well as meet some new rad individuals. I got to see Mark and catch up with the stuff that he's been working on. I stayed at 538 Johnson so I finally got to see that place and meet everyone that lives there. Went all over the city with Justine. Got to see Jack and Sean. I spent a lot of time with Sean and we managed to hangout outside of the loft. Spent time with Andy. Went and saw a few sights, ate at some delicious vegan eats etc. I don't have pictures of my own, but when I was with Justine I took most of the pictures, so if you want to see pictures of my travels, look at her blog. Some day I will get a new camera. Mikey and Welch came up the last weekend I was in New York to have Remainder practice with Jack and Ben. They are a great band an when they record you should check it out. I then got a ride with them back to D.C. and met Justine at the airport. I spent the next few days with her and helped her tie up some loose ends before she left the country. After she left there was Positive Youth Fest, which was real fucking boring (except Remainder, and seeing Lee, Kiki and everyone else). The music was not great and I'm 24 where as most of the kids there seemed 17. That ok though, that's what it's for, I probably just won't ever attend the event again. I spent a lot of time with Mikey and got to form a closer relationship with him. I left D.C. on the eve of the madness.

Now I'm back and my two favorite people are no longer in the country. However I am excited for them both. I have a pretty large task at hand anyways. Fucking Thesis. But it'll be tight and I be infamous at the end of all this. I'm tired of writing so I'll com back later and put some more in here.
